Existen nueve pueblos o pequeñas ciudades en Estados Unidos cuyo nombre es Cuba. Son en su mayoría minúsculos enclaves perdidos en la inmensidad de la geografía americana. En Home nos adentramos en un espacio donde colisionan fragmentos de estos pueblos. Imágenes espectrales que solo pueden confluir en el espacio de la película: mambises, soldados de la guerra de secesión, mis padres, mapas, calles escaneadas digitalmente, tomados... Al atravesar este laberinto comienza a surgir un territorio en constante movimiento y mutación.

There are nine towns or small cities in the United States whose name is Cuba. They are mostly tiny enclaves lost in the vastness of American geography. In Home, we delve into a space where fragments of these towns collide. Spectral images that can only converge in the realm of the film: mambises, soldiers from the Civil War, my parents, maps, digitally scanned streets, tornadoes... As we traverse this labyrinth, a territory in constant movement and mutation begins to emerge.

Home is the result of the ON/OFF Festival’s artist residency, in collaboration with the MEP and the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
