Un gran apagón ha sumergido a Cuba en la oscuridad. En las calles, los habitantes intentan escapar de la penumbra mientras el fuego de las hogueras parece anunciar el fin de una época. Refugiados en el interior de nuestra casa, mi madre me cuenta una visión que desde hace años le atormenta.
A huge blackout has plunged Cuba into darkness. In the streets, the inhabitants try to escape the gloom while the bonfires seem to announce the end of an era. Taking refuge inside our house, my mother tells me about a vision that has been tormenting her for years.
